Jett Travolta, son of Kelly Preston and John Travolta, has passed away at the age of 16 while vacationing with his family in the Bahamas.

Jett suffered a seizure and apparently hit his head on the bathtub at his family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.

It’s been reported that Jett had autism, which John has denied — instead saying Jett is inflicted with Kawasaki Syndrome, which can lead to heart disease.

John and Jett were very close with John referring to Jett as “my baby” in an interview with the Australian media several years ago. John was also quoted as saying, .

“He’s my first, and he’s my heart. And he’s a very special boy,”

My heart goes out to the Travolta family during this very tragic time.
