Oh no!! The rumors that have been going around for some time have been confirmed by US Magazine.
Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight , aka Izzy and George will soon take off their scrubs for good.
When Us Weekly asked James Pickens Jr. (a.k.a. Grey‘s Dr. Richard Webber) if Katherine is leaving Grey’s Anatomy, he said, “Yes, she is.” And he continued, “Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best.”
T.R. Knight is interested in pursuing other career opportunities also.
“He complains to Katherine all the time,” a set source has said of Knight “The energy on set will be much better when he’s gone.”
They have both been wanting out of their contracts for some time - now it seems they’re finally getting their wishes.
I can’t imagine Grey’s Anatomy without Izzy and George – what do you think – will it have an effect on the show??
