An overzealous Britney Spears fan was arrested at Spears’ concert in Connecticut on Saturday night after storming the stage during the show’s finale.

Spears was performing her hit song ‘Womanizer’ during the encore at Mohegan Sun Arena when the male fan climbed over the security barriers and jumped onstage to get closer to his idol.

The unnamed 20-year-old was apprehended by security guards with the help of Spears’ dancers, and was handed over to Connecticut State Police.
He was arrested for breach of peace and also booked for interfering with police after refusing to co-operate with cops.  According to TMZ.com, the man was released on Sunday morning after paying $250.
