Just when you thought you have heard it all – something comes up that makes you realize there is still a story out there that makes you say, “Are You Kidding Me??”.
On Tuesday, a fly intruded on an interview with President Obama and CNBC correspondent John Harwood at the White House. Obama swatted a fly and PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) caught wind of it. PETA is not happy with President Obama – so they sent him a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, a device that allows users to trap a house fly and then release it outside.
“We support compassion even for the most curious, smallest and least sympathetic animals,” PETA spokesman Bruce Friedrich said Wednesday. “We believe that people, where they can be compassionate, should be, for all animals.”
