The seven-time Tour de France champion, Lance Armstrong finished third in this year’s race. Armstrong, at 37, is the second-oldest podium finisher in the race’s history.
The Texan ended his three-and-a-half year retirement in January 2009 and still has what it takes to compete. During the Tour de France 2010, Armstrong will be the leader of a new American based team RadioShack.
This year’s teammate, Spanish cyclist, Alberto Contador, is the winner of the Tour de France 2009.
Two time Tour de France winner, Contador, 26, and Armstrong were teammates this year but not friends. Next year they will be on different teams and many predict Armstrong as the winner for 2010.
