Angelina Jolie was escorted home from the set of her new film Salt, by Brad Pitt and their daughters Zahara and Shiloh, on a frigid night in NYC.
The actress has been re-shooting some scenes for the Phillip Noyce film, where she plays a rogue CIA operative trying to clear her name after being accused of working for the Russians.
The superstar couple has recently made a generous donation of $100,000 to Florida and Illinois locations of SOS Children’s Villages, an organization that provides for kids as an alternative to foster care. At the two locations about 275 children have a place to live and to learn.
“We have seen first-hand the remarkable job SOS does to raise orphaned and abandoned children and keep families together,” Jolie said in a statement.
“The poor outcomes for foster children indicate that we must do a much better job of supporting them,” Pitt added.
Salt is due in theatres July 2010.
