
Rosie O’Donnell is planning her return to daytime television, conincidently at the some time the Queen of daytime, Oprah plans on descending her throne. The 48-year-old will produce the show through a company she formed, along with Scott Carlin, former head of HBO Domestic Distribution, and and Dick Robertson, ex head of Warner syndication.
The talk show vet hosted the Emmy-winning Rosie O’Donnell Show for six years before her controversial gig on The View.
Since last fall, Rose has been doing a two-hour show on Sirius XM Radio called Rosie Radio.
The launch of her new talk show is scheduled for the fall of 2011 and is rumored to be replacing The Oprah Winfrey Show, which is going off air at that time.
