This week on “Dancing with the Stars,” it’s movie night, with eight remaining couples doing the Jive, Quickstep, Cha Cha Cha, Tango, Foxtrot and Rumba to iconic songs from famous films such as “Pulp Fiction,” “Breakfast Club” and “Risky Business,” among others.

Niecy Nash and Louie Van Amstel:

Dance: Jive

Judges Comments: Niecy finished the jive with a big kiss on Len’s forehead.  Len liked it and said Niecy finally put her personality into the dancing.  Bruno said there was so much going on it was hard to focus.  Carrie Ann said Niecy was the shimmy queen but the bottom half wasn’t as good as the top half.

Niecy said on behalf of big girls everywhere – “I’m tired and hungry – you need to vote for me.”

Scores: 18/30

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke

Dance:  Quickstep to the song, ‘Bare Necessities’ from the movie, ‘Jungle Fever’

Judges Comments:  Bruno said dancing to Jungle Fever was too wild.  Carrie Ann said the performance was uneven.  Len said Chad’s posture improved and they did a pretty good job.

Erin Andrews with Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Dance:  The Jive to the movie, ‘Pulp Fiction’

Judges Comments:  Carrie Ann said they did better than the other couples.  Len said it was a bit hectic but overall they did a great job.  Bruno said Erin has that Uma magic and it was the best dance for Erin.

Scores:  22/30

Brooke asked Erin and Maks what was going on with them and if love was in the air.  Erin responded by saying, “not until he gets me a ring like Chad got Cheryl – are you joking?”

Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower
Dance:
  Cha Cha to the movie ‘Risky Business’

Judges Comments: Len said it was well done – their best dance.  Bruno said the energy was incredible.  Carrie Ann loved the dance – she said Jake had the guts and the glory.

Score:    23/30

 

Pamela Anderson with Damian Whitewood

Dance:  Quickstep to the movie ‘Nine to Five’

Judges Comments:   Bruno said your characterization is always spot on.  Carrie Ann said Pamela was fun to watch and they did a great job.  Len said the balance was off but there was far too much messing around and not enough dancing.

Score:   21/30

Kate Gosselin with Tony Dovolani

Dance: Foxtrot to the movie, ‘Breakfast Club’

Judges Comments:  Carrie Ann said she sees a bit of grace developing but not a great dance.  Len said it was a stroll not a dance.  It was neat and precise.  Bruno said Kate was catatonic and there was no life in the dance.

Score:  15/30

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough

Dance: Tango to the movie ‘Pretty Woman’

Judges Comments:  Len said it was Nicole’s best dance and the best dance of the season.  Bruno said, “Two players at the top of their game” bursting with sexual tension and it was perfection.  Carrie Ann said the lines were beautiful.  It was art.

Scores:  29/30

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya
Dance: Rumba to the movie ‘Armageddon’

Judges Comments:  Bruno said it was superb.  Carrie Ann said the movement was beautiful.  Len said it has artistry, musicality and they did a great job!!

Score:  27/30

The low score of the evening went to Kate and Tony with 15/30.  The high score for the evening went to Nicole and Derek with Evan and Anna a close second with 27/30.
