The rumor mill has it that Tiger Woods is close to divorce if not already there, as evidenced by Elin Nordegren’s absence from the Masters course for Tiger’s comeback. Based on sources, Nordegren had booked a flight to Arizona amidst reports that she had been “violently angry” over the recent Nike ad commercial.
The ad featured Tiger Woods solemnly staring at the screen while the rendered voice of his late father Earl Woods asked inquisitively about Woods “ feelings” which closely reference the golfer’s recent infidelities.
Earlier on during the Woods’ scandal, Elin had stayed faithfully at Tiger’s side while the media frenzy forced the golfer into sex therapy. Yet, in recent weeks, she had grown restless by Tiger’s decision to return back to golfing so early without properly trying to come to terms with his cheating.
According to RadarOnline.com, Elin had already been in contact with a divorce lawyer and had told Tiger they would go separate ways after the Masters.
