A new Miss USA for 2010 is set to be crowned on May 16, 2010.  But what would a pageant be without some sort of controversy?  Last year we had Carrie Ann Prejean’s answer regarding her opinion on same sex marriage.  This year the pageant hasn’t even started and we have a racy photo shoot.

It seems the Miss USA photos are being referred to as scandalous and are causing quite a stir. Donald Trump has owned the contest for several years now and it appears to some he has added some extra controversy to the prestigious pageant.   Trump is known to enjoy some controversy – can you say ratings??

My question is what happened to focusing on the “talent” part of the competition or has it come down to the fact that the racy photos are the contestants only talent??
