On last week’s episode of Private Practive Maya and Dell were in a car accident. Maya is in labor and she can’t feel her legs.   Addison tries to give Maya a c-section but her blood pressure drops.  She has to stop the surgery.  If they perform the c-section Maya can end up paralyzed.  If they do the surgery on her spine she can lose the baby.  Save the child – paralyze her for life.  Kill the baby and Maya could walk again.  Not much of a choice.

Thankfully, Maya and her new baby daughter are fine.

Sam is operating on the man who caused the car accident. When he realizes that he is operating on the drunk man who hit Maya, Pete tells him that it isn’t the same man. He lies so Sam will finish the surgery.  When Sam finds out that Pete lied he punches him and says, “What else are you going to take away from me? What else?”. 

Cooper asks Charlotte to marry him. He proposes by saying,

“Life is scary and short and I love you.  I’ve been stupid and I can’t be stupid any more.   Charlotte King I want to spend my whole damn life with you.”

Charlotte is speechless.

Naomi apologizes to Addison for the “Sam” incident.

While waiting for Mya’s surgery, Dell passes out.  His brain is bleeding and swelling.  Dell requests to see his daughter, Betsy.  He tells Betsy how much she means to him.   Dell dies during surgery.

Addison tells Pete that Violet is ready.  She isn’t talking about Lucas, she is talking  about Pete.  Addison tells Pete to go to Violet and not to worry – she and Pete will always be friends.

Addison goes to Sam and asks him if she makes him happy and proceeds to take her clothes off.
