Chris Brown had one of the most emotional performances during last night’s 2010 BET Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Brown’s tribute was viewed by many as his “redemption” after his assault on ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.  Although in my eyes – it will take a lot more than singing to redeem himself.  How does singing redeem someone who beat his girlfriend??

Brown’s tribute to Michael Jackson, just days after the one-year anniversary of his passing, brought tears to many eyes – including his own.  Brown was dressed in a full “MJ” costume – high-waist pants and bandaged fingers.   His tribute medley included parts of “Remember the Time” and “Billie Jean.”   Brown broke down while singing “Man in the Mirror” – often helped by the audience.
