The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka and ex-fiance, Vienna sat down with Chris Harrison to discuss their recent breakup.

Chris Harrison spoke to Jake Pavelka first and Jake said that the relationship was going downhill before he left to film the television series, Drop Dead Diva.

When Vienna was brought out to discuss the break up, Chris asked her how they got to this point. Vienna said that the first month they were together was great!!   After that she felt very lonely when she and Jake were home but on the red carpet Jake and she had a ”normal” relationship.

Vienna said Jake was in a relationship that was both emotionally and physically lacking. Chris Harrison asked Vienna why she took it to the tabloids. Vienna felt that Jake was going to go to the tabloids and she wanted to have a voice.

Jake tells Vienna that he is so mad at her and then accuses Vienna of selling him out by going to the tabloids. Vienna seems real – she is very angry while Jake is emotionally removed.   It’s a whole bunch of he said, she said.

Here are some of the questions posed to both Jake and Vienna along with their responses:

Why did Vienna tell such intimate details??  Vienna wanted people to know the real reason that they broke up.  Vienna claims there were never any cheating or trust issues.

What did Jake see in Vienna when they got engaged?  Vienna was supportive and loving.  Interesting and entertaining.

What did Vienna see in Jake when they got engaged??  Jake was genuine, compassionate and fun to be around.

Jake accused Vienna of breaking him down, being mean to him, undermining him and having no respect for him.   He claims that is why he didn’t want to sleep with her.  He also accused her of interrupting him all the time – which she did. 

The interview ended with Vienna walking off the set and locking herself in the bathroom.

Jake is definitely emotionally removed from the relationship.  He seems like the type of person who is never going to be happy in a relationship.
