When Oprah Winfrey created, OWN (the Oprah Winfrey Network) she wasn’t kidding around. Jenny McCarthy, Rosie O’Donnell and now Julia Roberts are names that have been associated with the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Roberts will serve as a producer of a documentary series, called ‘Extraordinary Moms’ set to debut in January on Oprah Winfrey’s new cable network.
Roberts spoke about ‘Extraordinary Moms’,
“It really is, for me, a celebration, a show to honor moms who I think do … I mean, every mom does amazing things every day. But we found some that really, really are extraordinary and we wanted to make a show about it. Oprah made it happen for us.”
Does it sound like something you would be interested in watching??

I am a mother who made history with my OBGYN. I got pregnant at 49 and delievered
my baby boy Isaac James at 50 years of age. He is adorable and
completely healthy. I did NOTHING to help the preocess
along, just a lot of prayer from his sister, who is now
13. I would love to share our whole story, I think Julia
is right on track doing this show!!
The instant I heard about this project I thought of my daughter, Christy Holton. Christy has three children, a boy six years old, a girl about to be four and another son, about to be two. That alone would qualify her as an “extraordinary” mom, but her situation is unique. The love of our lives is Harlie, her four year old. Harlie was born with Goldenhar Syndrom, together with major heart defects, and many, many more defects. I won’t go into all of her medical situation, and I hope you would at least take a look at her blog (lifesinceharlie.blogspot.com). She has been and is an inspiration to so many people, and they say so repeatedly. In addition to a killer schedule, she has a very part-time job (half a day, one day a week), is training for the marathon here in Richmond in November.
Please take a look at her blog and see if you agree that a spotlight on her would be well deserved and interesting to your viewers.
Wow! Sounds FASCINATING! ummmm NOT.
