Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks Might Share the Big Screen

Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks are in talks to co-star in the adaptation of the novel Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, written by Jonathan Foer.  The book is about a 9-year-old boy, whose father dies in the World Trade Center during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.  The boy makes his way through New York City in search of the lock that matches a mysterious key he found in his dad’s closet.

Scott Rudin, producer and director Stephen Daldry have been working on the project since the book was published in 2005. Both Warner Bros. and Paramount are working on the project and are currently exploring casting.

This A-list duo would be incredible to see in a film together.  Hopefully they take the role, if not who else could you see replacing them??
