The moment we’ve all been waiting for – Ali Fedowtowsky will be picking the final one!! Or will she?
The final two men are Roberto and Chris. US Magazine is reporting that Ali picked Chris, an internet spoiler site said that Ali picks no one and I think that Ali picked Roberto. (That was before I was invited to a conference call with Ali, Roberto and Chris. This is a first – it’s usually the Bachelor/ette and the final one).
Roberto meets Ali’s family. Ali’s mother is in tears when she is speaking to Roberto because she is so happy that Ali is happy. Roberto is traditional and wants to ask Ali’s father for Ali’s hand in marriage. When Ali’s father asks Roberto how he feels about Ali, Roberto responds by telling Ali’s father he really cares about her. He doesn’t use the word LOVE until Ali’s father asks him if he loves her. That definitely leaves me with concerns. Ali’s father gives his blessing for Roberto to ask for Ali’s hand in marriage. And the rest of the family approves also!!
It’s Chris’ turn to meet Ali’s family. And he fits right in with them. Ali’s mom is a nurse and so was Chris’ mom, Chris used to be a teacher and so was Ali’s father – they definitely have a lot in common.
Ali is a bit concerned with the fact that her relationship with Chris is moving a bit slowly but her mother reassures her that is the kind of love that lasts. When Ali’s father asks Chris if he loves her he doesn’t say yes – instead he goes into how great she is and how the most important thing to him is family. He fumbles over his words and eventually says that he is falling in love with her. He asks for her father’s blessing if he has the opportunity to ask for Ali’s hand in marriage. Ali’s father gives his blessing to Chris.
Ali’s family loves Chris and the fact that he lives in Massachussets is an added bonus.
Ali thinks both guys are great – but who is great for her?? Her family provides feedback that probably confuses Ali even more. Ali’s family thinks both Roberto and Chris love Ali.
Ali and Robert have their final one on one date. The two have a great sense of adventure and go jet skiing and stop to hang out with some sting rays.
Ali is looking for Roberto to open up emotionally to her on their last night together. Roberto is nervous but he wants to let Ali know how he feels about her. He gives her a photo of their first date with the sweetest note telling her he loves her and that she inspires him to be a better man. He also tells Ali that he has definitely, definitely fallen in love with her. Ali tells the camera that she loves Roberto and he is everything she wants in a man.
Ali has her one on one with Chris where she tells him that she is in love with someone else. She didn’t even wait until the rose ceremony to let Chris go. Chris put himself out there but it was a little too late. That really shows the kind of character he has. She didn’t want him to have to wait until the rose ceremony to find out that she wasn’t choosing him. As much as the situation hurts, Chris wants to see Ali happy.
Roberto knows that he loves Ali but he doesn’t want to propose unless he feels 100% sure he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Roberto plans on proposing once in his life – and he wants to make sure he is doing the right thing.
Ali is 100% certain with all of her heart that Roberto is the man for her. Roberto is still nervous – up until the final rose ceremony. Roberto tells Ali that he has been thinking all night and all morning about his decision. He tells Ali he came into it not knowing what to expect but he wants to be the man who makes her laugh and makes her smile for the rest of his life. Ali tells Roberto that she loves him and Roberto proposes!!
