Taylor Swift and First Lady Michelle Obama joined up with top NFL players and coaches in New Orleans to participate in the NFL’s Play 60 campaign to fight childhood obesity on Wednesday (September 8).  The goal of the program is to get kids to be physically active for at least 1-hour a day.

The country singer is pictured above with NFL players Deuce McAllister, Derrick Brooks and Eddie George. 

Running back Deuce McAllister said, “To team up with the first lady is definitely a good thing. It goes right with what we’re doing here today. I think the biggest thing is to keep people healthy now. If we do that, we may not have these diseases we’re seeing popping up, like heart disease and diabetes.”

Taylor Swift will perform tonight at the NFL Kickoff concert.
