With the price of college sky rocketing – what better way to spend your parents hard earned money than on Snooki. As far as role models for today’s youth, who could be better than Snooki?
The Rutgers University Programming Association paid Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of the reality TV show “Jersey Shore” $32,000 Thursday to speak about her hairstyle, fist pumps, as well as the GTL — gym, tanning, laundry — lifestyle.
Nobel-winning novelist Toni Morrison was paid $30,000 to deliver Rutgers’ commencement address in May.
Money for Polizzi’s appearance came from the mandatory student activity fee.
Snooki’s advice to students was to study hard, but party harder.
Another Jersey Shore lady that is getting her name out there is Sammi ‘Sweetheart’. Sammi recently launched a new perfume called “Dangerous”. Mandee is the first and only brick-and-mortar retailer to carry “Dangerous,” and the store is offering a special deal for Sammi fans.
To see Sammi in person – she will be at Mandee’s Jersey Gardens (www.mandee.com) store to launch her new “Dangerous” fragrance on Saturday, April 2, from 2-4 p.m., 651 Kapkowski Road, Elizabeth, NJ (upper floor near the Food Court and Cohoes).
