Ricardo Chavira, who plays Carlos on Desperate Housewives was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) early this morning in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

Chavira was pulled over for a routine traffic stop at around 2 AM when the police allegedly smelled alcohol on his breath.

Chavira is said to have been given field sobriety tests at the scene — but they didn’t go so well — so cops arrested him on suspicion of DUI. It is being reported Chavira refused to take a blood or breath test.

Chavira was booked and is currently being held on $25,000 bail.
