Tom Hanks Casts His First Idol Vote Ever!

Posted by May 24th, 2011 | 0 Comments »

Have you ever wondered if any of Hollywood’s A-List celebrities pick up the phone or run to their computers to vote for their American Idol? Well, Tom Hanks told Ellen Degeneres that he cast his first vote in Idol history during last week’s Top 3 round.

Which Idol contestant stole his heart? Haley Reinhart! He told Ellen:

“I had dodged the virus for many, many years. This year I got hooked on watching with [wife] Rita [Wilson]. I voted twice and I thought well, that’ll put her over the top. I put off voting as long as I could. I haven’t voted with Dancing with the Stars yet.”

Looks like he will have to jump aboard team Scotty or team Lauren!
