Shannon Tweed Walks Out on Gene Simmons During Interview

Posted by June 15th, 2011 | 1 Comments »

The new season of “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” debuted last night on A & E where we see Shannon Tweed , Simmon’s partner of 28 years, VERY fed up with Simmons’ philandering ways (it’s reported he’s slept with 5,000 women!).

Gene and Shannon appear on the Joy Behar Show tonight, June 15, 2011 where you can see the tension between the two – especially Shannon. She even walked off the set during the interview.

Gene even tried to BLAME JOY for starting the fight with her interview questions!!

When asked about Gene’s “philandering” and if he’s currently seeing other women, Gene responded:

Gene: There have been.
Joy: Are there any now?
Gene: Not right now.
Joy: Not in this minute?
Shannon: In the last month, month would you say?
Gene: No.
Shannon: Congratulations.

Eek! You can feel the tension building and building!

After Shannon stormed off the set, Gene yelled after Shannon to return and had this conversation with Joy:
Gene: Good set up, Joy.
Joy: Don’t blame me for this. I thought that’s what we were talking about.
Gene: We were going to talk about our new season.
Joy: Here’s the problem with a person in my position. A lot of these reality shows, you know, they’re bullsh*t. I don’t know if it’s true or not. I thought that this was a game. Now it turns out that this is really true.
Gene: No, this is actually happening to us.

Is this all an act to promote their reality show, or is it actual reality? Watch the sneak peek clip of tonight’s interview here and YOU decide.

You can catch the entire interview on the Joy Behar Show TONIGHT at 10pm on HLN!
