90210′s Trevor Donovan will not be returning to the show as a series regular next season, according to TV Line. Donovan said:

“I look back on getting this real-life storyline as a blessing. To be able to simultaneously take on a challenging role and bring awareness to a relevant social issue was a win-win for me. I’m looking forward to what opportunities and adventures lie ahead.”

Donovan’s character had a major storyline during season three of the show. His character Teddy, who previously dated many girls on the show, was struggling with coming out of the closet and life after doing so.

Donovan did tweet that he would be returning to the show for a few episodes in a season four.

I know I was looking forward to seeing Teddy’s storyline develop even more! Are you sad to see his departure from the show???
