Vanessa Minnillo started out her television career by hosting MTV’s TRL and now she is back with another hosting gig!  ABC has signed on for a fifth season of it’s reality series Wipeout, but you won’t be seeing co-host Jill Wagner anymore. Minnillo will be replacing Wagner as the on-location co-host who interviews the contestants before and after they compete.

Wipeout is a competition show where contestants attempt to conquer extremely difficult obstacle courses, while making complete fools of themselves. It is currently hosted by John Andersonof ESPN’s SportsCenter and John Jenson of E!’s Talk Soup. Matt Kunitz, executive producer of the show had this to say:

“We will miss Jill, but are thrilled to welcome Vanessa to the team and excited to bring her enthusiasm to the show. She is a great host with a fun and natural energy that our viewers will love.”

Minnillo has recently done guest spots on 30 Rock and Hawaii Five-0. She also hosted another ABC television show back in 2009, True Beauty.
