Joe Jonas celebrated his 22nd birthday (actually on August 15th) on August 14th in Las Vegas, where he visited the Liquid Pool Lounge in the afternoon, spending his time by the pool in a VIP cabana with friends.

A source told People magazine that “female fans surrounded the area, trying to get a glimpse of [Joe] in his bathing suit.”

Following his downtime by the pool Jonas and friends went to the Bellago Hotel. There, the executive chef of the Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge treated the singer and his entourage to a meal. After dinner, Jonas and his friends then stopped at Deuce Lounge to play blackjack, during which time  “Joe was swarmed by nearly 20 female fans dying to get an autograph or photo with [him]. Jonas signed several autographs, met a few fans, and then performed a few tracks off his new album Fast Life. The crowd seemed to enjoy the music.

After the set, Jonas told People that Fast Life is  “a coming-of-age record” and “I want to present it to people my age – a little bit older.” Once he finished performing at around 2:30 am, Jonas went to the VIP room where he was seen “chatting with a bevy of beautiful girl” and he received a suprise keyboard-shaped birthday cake.”

An onlooker noted that “girls were pushing to get near him” and “he was definitely loving the attention.”
