Kellan Lutz, 26, is known for his acting skills, modeling, and love of sports. He also recently revealed his interest in music, specifically learning how to play the guitar from none other than Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.
The actor told the LA Times Ministry of Gossip that he’s in the process of continuing to improve his guitar and general musicianship skills, saying “I picked up the guitar now that I have some down time. I got a couple of books and some iPad apps, but I get to work with Rob and Jackson [Rathbone] on all these movies, who are brilliant musicians. I get to learn from talented people … I can’t sing for crap, but I enjoy picking up hobbies.”
Pattinson himself is known for his love of music, playing the piano and guitar, as well as singing on the 2008 Twilight soundtrack. In addition, Jackson Rathbone fronts his own band based in Louisiana called 100 Monkeys.
He might find it a bit harder than he thinks on how to play
guitar. When Gwyneth Paltrow did it for her “Country Strong”
movie she complained about how frustrating the whole experience was for her
yet now she loves it.
