Jennifer Lopez was recently spotted having dinner with Hangover actor Bradley Cooper. Though reports have emerged that the two are beginning to date or hook-up, new rumors have emerged that Lopez purposely setup the dinner with Bradley to stay in the headlines.

The Huffpost Celebrity says that Lopez did this before with English Patient actor Ralph Fiennes in 2002. Apparently, while Lopez and Fiennes filmed Maid in Manhattan, the two had a casual dinner, and over the course of the next days, headlines said the two were involved romantically. However, at the time, Fiennes responded to the speculation by saying, “I had dinner with her and her producer and her manager who’s in the background shot as well. That didn’t upset me because it was just so not true and so badly set up.”

Now, a source claims Lopez pulled the same stunt with Cooper, explaining that “no one who eats at Per Se is calling in tips to gossip sites. Most of the people that go there are so rich they couldn’t care less about actors. They are more impressed by business players than Hollywood types.”
