Grammy Award winners, The Black Eyed Peas, were supposed to perform live in Central Park, to raise money for Robin Hood, back in June but had to cancel at the very last minute due to severe weather.

Prior to the start of their performance, the Black Eyed Peas had a backstage chat with some of their fans on Google+.’s Google+ profile, stated it was the “very first online backstage onstage web cam session.”

Despite the heavy rain the Black Eyed Peas gave their free concert to a sold out ticketed event of 60,000.

“The rain stopped us last time but it’s not going to stop us this time,” told the crowd. “We don’t take no for an answer.”

Throughout the concert, fans were encouraged to donate to Robin Hood by sending the text message GIVENYC to 50555 to donate $10. 100% of the donation will go to Robin Hood to help New Yorkers living in poverty.
