Hayden Panettiere was on stage at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards to present the award for Best Song when she was joined by a naked man. Was it a stunt or was it a real streaker?

When the nude intruder stood near Hayden she asked him, “Dude, what are you doing?” To which, the man replied in a Northern Irish accent that he thought he’d “do a streak” and admitted to being a huge fan of “Heroes”.
The incident quickly generated questions among fans if the incident was a publicity stunt. Since the man remained on stage for over a minute, without security hauling his naked buns off the stage it had to be a stunt. The Daily Mirror reported that it was indeed a staged sketch, and the naked man was identified as Irish actor David Monaghan.
When the naked man finally left the stage and Hayden was able to regain her fake acting composer, she presented the award for the Best Song to Lady GaGa for her hit single “Born This Way”.
The streaker didn’t phase Lady Gaga as she made no reference to the streaker but did break down as she thanked fans for their support. In addition to the award, the “You and I” singer won three other awards, Best Video, Best Female and Biggest Fans.
