Scarlett Johansson and the late Dean Martin have created music magic with the release of their holiday duet, ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’.
“Growing up in New York City, Christmas was never Christmas without Dino,” Johansson said in a press release. “Recording in the studio with Mr. Martin in my headphones felt as though he were standing right next to me, crooning with that mischievous gleam in his eye. When I was asked to sing on this album, it was literally a childhood dream come true.”
The song appears on Martin’s newest Christmas compilation, “My Kind of Christmas,” which was released on September 20 and also includes classic Christmas songs like “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm” and “Silver Bells.” Martin died of acute respiratory failure in 1995 at age 78,
