Bobby Brown has left his tour with New Edition in Nashville and returned to LA the day after the death of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston. He arrived around 9pm at LAX with a large entourage of people.

Upon his arrival, an observer said:

“Bobby had a blank stare and looked exhausted. His friends seemed concerned about him and they surrounded him as they walked through the airport.”

Brown’s agent, Jeff Strom told PEOPLE magazine that he left his tour to be with his daughter. Bobbi Kristina, Brown and Houston’s 18-year-old daughter has been admitted to Cedars Sinai Medical Center after having a complete breakdown.  She has since been cleared medically and released.

Brown officially tole PEOPLE in his first statement after Houston’s death that he was “deeply saddened.”
