Johnny Depp cares more about the happiness of his children.

The 48-year-old actor told the Daily Telegraph “As a family man, as a dad, all you want is pure happiness for your kids. That’s what I hope for. I’m OK with no big ups and no big downs. That’s my dream – happy kids.”

He added that he loves living in France with his family, saying “It’s a beautiful culture, steeped in history. They respect creativity. They celebrate it. And the wine is pretty good.”

Then, Depp explained his hatred of celebrity, explaining “I hated the idea of becoming a celebrity commodity, where nothing has any value and it’s all about appearances and image – artificial just for the sake of making money. I swore to myself I wouldn’t follow that path.”
