Zooey Deschanel kicked off her first time hosting Saturday Night Live with a song.

Zooey’s monologue saw her greet the studio audience and viewers at home with a tune about the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday.

Highlights include Zooey’s adorable opening monologue, “French Dance” featuring a surprise visit from Jean Dujardin, Nic Cage proving he’s the best sport of all time on Weekend Update and performances by musical guest Karmin.

 Next week Maya Rudolph will be hosting SNL!!
