Rachael Ray and Ziploc Team Up for American FreshOver Project
Rachel Ray has teamed up with Ziploc to give America’s favorite foods a “freshness makeover” and challenge families to do the same to their meals by beginning FreshOver Projects right in their own kitchens.
I attended an event in New York where Rachael gave a “freshness makeover” to some of America’s favorite dishes. Rachael also provided tips on keeping foods fresh. Buying items when they are on sale, using Ziploc bags and containers to store the right portion sizes makes it easy to stay within budget. It is also super convenient so you can take them out of the freezer and prepare your meal.
According to the Ziploc Fresh Eating Survey, 81 percent of Americans said they were looking for more ways to incorporate fresh ingredients into their family’s meals, yet only 46 percent of Americans responded that they eat foods containing fruits and vegetables every day. Ziploc and Rachael Ray are on a mission to change that.
Do you incorporate fruits and vegetables in your meals?
