Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez had been separated for nine months before he filed for divorce.
What made Anthony file the official papers? After hoping for a reconciliation, reality set in when Jennifer Lopez, told him she is madly in love with her boytoy, Casper Smart, according to TMZ.
Marc reportedly had a heart-to-heart with J.Lo a few weeks back to see if she really, truly wanted to end the marriage. He is said to have wanted to give the marriage another try, but Jennifer confessed she was deeply in love with Casper and wanted to pursue that relationship.
Marc was said to be caught off guard as he had no idea things were so serious and he was deeply hurt.
And that is why Marc filed divorce papers this week.
