Miley Cyrus is engaged!!

People Magazine just broke the news that Miley Cyrus, 19, and her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, 22, are engaged!!

Ater three years of dating, it has been confirmed by both of their representatives.

“I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” Cyrus stated.

This is  Hemsworth and Cyrus met when they costarred in the movie, The Last Song in 2009, sharing Miley’s first on-screen kiss.

Liam proposed to Miley on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Neil Lane.  The ring is in a gold setting with a vintage feel.

There were rumors of an engagement back in March when Miley tweeted a photo of a ring.

Cyrus is currently working on a new album, while Hemsworth is currently filming Empire State in New Orleans and will be filming The Hunger Games sequel this summer.

Her parents are said to be thrilled.
