It’s been a long time since America’s Got Talent stepped aside for NBC to broadcast the 2012 Olympic Games – hope you all enjoyed them while you were all voting for our favorite YouTube act, because tonight, the top 12 YouTube acts will be coming to Newark to compete for a spot in the competition, and a shot at that $1,000,000!
Our fine judges, Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and Howard Stern will be returning to judge the most popular acts to send in a YouTube video of their talent, and select the best four to enter the competition. It all starts tonight at 8 PM!

Is anyone else wondering about the talent selected for the Wildcard round? Let’s just say I’m not impressed. Still, I love America’s Got Talent and I make sure that my Hopper is ready to go each week for the new episodes. Working at Dish, I find out all sorts of cool stuff about the shows and the PrimeTime Anytime feature on the Hopper makes sure that it all gets recorded. I think the only acts that have any appeal are the Mariachi band and Andrew DeLeon. As for the competition as a whole I think William Close has a good shot at winning.
