New mother, actress, and singer Hilary Duff will be returning to where she started it all — television!

Duff announced via Twitter on Monday:

“Ok it’s official! Very excited  about my development deal with 20th century fox!! t.v. here I come! ”

According to Deadline, Duff has signed a talent and development deal which requires the studio to develop a half-hour comedy vehicle for her. This also means that if for whatever reason the project falls through, the studio can cast her in another comedy or drama series.

Duff isn’t stopping there, however! Back in June she told E! News that she was also heading back into the studio to record some new music.

Looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more Hilary Duff soon!
