Christina Aguilera kicked off the Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert singing, Beautiful.

The Staten Island native, spoke a few words about her hometown, before her powerful performance.

The Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together telethon is a benefit to aid victims of the storm that devastated the Northeast of the United States.
