Good Evening Upper East Siders! It’s getting cold out, but that doesn’t mean the drama and scheming has ceased! And it doesn’t keep Eleanor from returning back to the Big Apple. The episode begins with Eleanor returning to NY and before greeting her only daughter B, she insults her…no surprise there!! She tells Blair that she was forced to come back, not to see and catch up with her daughter, rather because she is over B’s scheming and tells her that if she wants to keep her position at Waldorf Designs the deviant, mean- spirited, high-schoolesque Blair must go! IF ONLY!
Eleanor’s first demand is that Blair makes peace with the fashion world aka WWD aka Nelli Yuki. She arranges for the two of them to have lunch, and Blair being Blair tells Nelli that she will blackmail her with a photo of her wearing a fat suite (circa season 1). Eleanor walks in the dining room as Nelli storms out, Eleanor realizing her beloved daughter is back to her old tricks.
Chuck is still trying to figure out why his father faked his own death. Doesn’t he have enough cash to hire someone to do the job for him?! Hells Bells! Anywho, Chuck did in fact find out more about the envelope that his father was holding tightly when he and Ivy spoke. He was able to tell (from security cameras) that the envelope had the International Bank of Sudan’s seal on it…this doesn’t sound good, and the man who delivered the envelope to Bart, is named Bruce. Bruce, an employee of Bart, is conned into going to the Empire, where Nate secretly steals his phone. Chuck begins digging.
