Hurricane Sandy Fundraiser

A blogging friend of ours on the West Coast, Busy Bee Blogger, is holding a fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast.

Cari already has two sponsors for the party and has even adopted three families on the South Shore to try and help.  All three of the families have endured considerable damage to their homes and businesses.

As I said in my previous post about Hurricane Sandy, she’s a real b!tch. Unfortunately many of those who lost everything in her wake, are still going without the basic necessities. THAT is something that this little busy bee cannot sit idly by and take.

BusyBeeBlogger.com is holding a fundraiser here on the left coast for those hit by Sandy on the East Coast. There will be a cocktail party with prizes here in SoCal, with all the benefits going to non-profits in New Jersey and New York.
The event is scheduled for early December and all are welcome to attend.

BusyBeeBlogger is also adopting THREE FAMILIES WHO LOST EVERYTHING due to Sandy.

They have not asked us for help, but I cannot sit here and just talk about how “tragic” the whole thing is. I will be collecting items that the families need, especially gift cards, such as Target, JCP, Old Navy.   I was told that those would be the most helpful. One of the mothers said her family’s clothes STILL smell like oil from the flooding even though she’s washed them 9 times. Let’s get them some new clothes, ok?!
