Steven Tyler: “I’m Not Racist”

Posted by | 1 Comments »

After Nicki Minaj suggested Aerosmith’s frontman, Steven Tyler, was racist for his criticism of the new American Idol judges, Tyler was quick to defend himself:

“I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki, but I am the farthest from [being a racist]. I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don’t know where she got that out of me saying I’m not sure how she would’ve judged Bob Dylan. Maybe I spoke out of turn… But a racist I’m not, Nicki.”

Tyler was referring to the fact that after he stated that if Bob Dylan were to audition for American Idol, Minaj would have sent him to the “cornfields,” and Minaj then responded with this tweet:

“You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f*ck yourself and worry about yourself babe.”

While Tyler will be scaring away crows in a field, Minaj will be scaring away America when the new season of American idol premieres in January.

I’m not sure why he felt the need to defend himself against this clown. I wouldn’t have graced the mind-numbingly stupid and talentless egoist with a response.
