The shooter was initially named as Ryan Lanza. Ryan is actually the brother of the man that went on the wild rampage and killed multiple innocent people, Adam Lanza. Ryan has not spoken to his brother since 2010. Adam Lanza was carrying his older brother Ryan’s identification at the time of the shooting.

The world sits glued to their televisions watching and listening to the horrific news of 26 deaths that took place at Sandy Hook School in Newton, Ct. 18 children will no be going home to their families. 18 children will not be celebrating the holidays.
Ryan Lanza lived in Hoboken, NJ but he was from Newton, Ct. and his mother worked at the elementary school. He went there to kill his mother and killed the 18 children, as well.
Lanza had no prior arrests. Lanza killed himself after shooting his mother and the 18 children in her classroom, in addition to seven adults. He killed a total of 26 people.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of Newton, Ct.
