With a trip to the finals on the line, Nicholas David kills it with his take on Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful,”during The Voice Semi-Finals.

Nicholas David’s Song You Are So Beautiful – Well, well. Mr. David seems to have cut his hair, trimmed his beard, and has ditched the glasses for this performance. He’s doing a fantastic job, and while I’m not certain how he would do in the mainstream music market, I could listen to him sing all day long. There’s just something about his voice that is so relaxing.

Judges’ Comments: Adam tells Nicholas that he is “one of the most soulful people,” and that he’s basically awesome. Cee Lo compliments Nicholas on his new look, and tells him that “it’s very obvious at this point that it [the song] was the right thing to do.”
