American Idol is in full swing as they hit their 5th night of auditions! Micah Johnson auditioned tonight and is must see AI contestant!!

Contestant: Micah – This has been dubbed as the most amazing audition ever. He recently had his tonsils removed, and the doctor hit some nerves leaving him with a pretty severe speech impediment.

Song: “Chicken Fry” || WOW! Okay, so let’s be honest… Micah can barely speak properly. That doctor did a huge number on his speaking voice. But luckily his singing voice is so amazingly, perfectly, fantastically in tact. Wow, wow, wow. I am in shock, which is weird because I KNEW this was going to be a great audition and it still took me by surprise!

Judges’ Comments: Nikki says Micah is “absolutely, without a doubt ready” while Keith simply says it’s beautiful. Mariah says she was moved by his story, but even without the story she would have been moved by his voice.
Through To Hollywood?: Unanimous yes. Because wow.
