American Idol Season 12 debuts tonight, January 16, 2013.  With everyone looking at the Mariah Carey/Nicki Minaj feud and what happens with the judges, we almost forgot about the contestants.

We have the Top 40 contestants chosen during the Las Vegas Round, thanks to our friends at TIP.

Gearing up for an exciting new season, AI will kick off with a couple of new judges Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban, along with fellow newbie Mariah Carey and AI veteran judge Randy Jackson.

    Betty, you should not attack NICKI like that. I thought the same at first, but after watching it, I realize that Nicki contributes more to the show than Mariah and she is way better than Paula or J-Lo. Stop accusing people of things when you haven’t even watched the show.

    I agree. Niki does not shut up. First night heard more of the judges than the singers. She needs to shut up.

    I have watched American Idol since the beginning. I will not watch it this year ,however, because of Niki Minkj. She has no talent so how can she judge, She is so fake, arrogant & unattractive that it is impossible to watch. This year is going to be a joke. Feel sorry for the contestants because she demands so much attentin that you can’t focus on them. Bet there are others that feel the same.
