Adam Levine sang with Andy Samberg to create a song for the “battle cry for today’s generation,” YOLO.

YOLO, You only Live Once, is a common term used by today’s teens, who will be rejoicing that they finally have a song to go along with their favorite word.

Some of the lyrics include:

You know we are still young, so don’t be dumb
Don’t trust anyone, cause you only live once

You only live once that’s the motto
So take a chill pill, ease off the grotto

Stay away from drugs because they’re not legal
Bury all your money in the yard, like a beagle

You should not trust the banks, they’ve been known to fail.

Take a listen to the song and let us know what you think.

Parents of those who live by the motto, “YOLO,” can rejoice as the lyrics let us know that nothing is safe – cars, buses, trains and walking around in a titanium suit is always an option.

We have the song on page 2.
