It looks like season three The Voice winner, Cassadee Pope, has decided to follow in the footsteps of her Voice coach and take her career down the country route!
Pope has officially signed with Republic Nashville. She said in an announcement:
“I am so excited to be joining the very talented Republic Nashville family. I am so passionate about my music and I couldn’t be more excited to have this amazing team to back me as I embark on this next chapter in my career.”
No details have been announced about her upcoming debut solo album, although after winning the show she did say that she wants to have her Voice coach, Blake Shelton, involved. She also said that she wants her album to sound like “Taylor Swift, make it edgier with just a little hint of country and make the lyrics a little more mature.”
