Ellen DeGeneres gave her wife, Portia DeRossi an amazing tribute in honor of her 40th birthday.

In the tribute segment, titled “de bold, de beautiful, de Rossi”, Ellen acted out the tribute and played Portia, walking us through the various stages of her life, from her birth in Australia, to her time in law school, to her modeling career, to her move to London to her various acting gigs.
Joining Ellen to help recreate her romance with Portia was actor Sean Hayes, who played DeGeneres.
The tribute was humorous and touching at the same time. With flashbacks of their wedding and photos of the couple, it was something we would expect from Ellen. Funny and classy at the same time.
Something we wish the loved ones in our lives would do for us. Re-create those special moments.
