In what was a surprising reveal, Demi Lovato was asked if she had a ‘secret’ that no one knew about in a radio interview.

Lovato took the opportunity to reveal an older sister she just found out about saying,

“I just got to know I have an older sister I have never known in my whole life….she’s in her thirties. She’s my half sister but I talked to her for the very first time in my life around when I turned 20 (which was on August 20th.”

Demi was surprised and couldn’t understand why her sister didn’t contact her. It turns out her newly found sister didn’t want Demi to think she wanted anything from her.

Demi has two other sister, an older sister, Dallas Lovato, and an 11-year-old half-sister, Madison De La Garza, who used to star on the hit television series, Desperate Housewives as Eva Longoria’s daughter.

Finding a long lost relative you never knew you had is definitely a surprise.
