Katy Perry and John Mayer have gone their separate ways after dating for seven months. Since relationships in Hollywood are not known for their longevity and should actually be measured in dog years, they really dated for more than four years.
The rumors have begun as to the ‘real reasons’ the couple have broken up, beginning with fidelity. According to Bohomoth, John Mayer was actually seeing two other women while he was dating Perry. Mayer was said to be in the relationship for the PR to help his world tour.
“John’s been involved with at least one other woman whilst he was with Katy and insisting that their high-profile relationship was just for PR ahead of his world tour and not serious as far as he was concerned”
Katy Perry doesn’t seem to be too broken up over the end of their relationship tweeting,
“ATTENTION: Mercury is OUT of retrograde today. Thank GOD”
at the same time the breakup was announced.
